Week 25: 4/9/2018: Clogged Toilets

Hey y'all!

What a good week it was in Georgia! Great things are happening here, and the Lord is so involved in the work. I know this is HIS church, and He is helping me every day.

This week was harder, but that's okay! It was mostly hard because everyone was out of town for spring break, but now they're back and we are ready to teach them! We did a lot of finding this week(as usual), and we found 2 new investigators! They are so awesome and the husband's name is Walter and the wife's name is Barbara. We found them by tracting, and they love Jesus Christ SO much! The first day we met them we were able to teach them and set up a return appointment which was great! They invited us to go to their church on Sunday morning, and that was a blast. To be honest, I was really nervous to go to a different church, but it really strengthened my testimony. Walter and Barbara attend a nondenominational church, and when we first got there everyone was extremely nice. The people were so welcoming and aware of us. I know that is how God wants every latter day saint to be as well. Their church began with a small concert where they sang Christian songs, and then they had a pastor talk about equality. It was a different, but a fun experience. I was grateful to go to their church and experience something new! We hope to have them at church with us next week!

I was happy to go to church with them, but I was filled with joy going back to our church just a few hours later. There is a spirit that is so unique that resides in the chapel. I know how sacred partaking of the sacrament is, and I was able to remember that this past Sunday. We had an INCREDIBLE testimony meeting. I love listening to people and how they have become more converted to the gospel. The gospel can and will change your life! The best part was having our INVESTIGATOR Sarah bear her testimony. It was simple yet powerful. She is an amazing person with a pure love for Jesus Christ. Testimony meeting was great, and then at the end of the meeting the bishop said he needed to make an announcement. All toilets had been clogged and that we all had to leave the Church right after the prayer was said 🤣 it was an interesting experience!

Funny story time! Hopefully this story can show you what my area is like ha! We were talking to a member of our ward, and asked how his spring break was. "Good, but I was bummed when my buddy offered me MASTERS tickets but I was already on a cruise." 🤣 Sister Holman and I started cracking up. I just love this ward so much haha!

Life is great, and it's even better when we follow God's commandments. Have a good week and don't forget how much your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you. Love y'all!
