Week 44: 8/27/2018: Miracles are Everywhere

Another week down in Gainesville, and I continue to love the work here 😊

We saw a lot of miracles this week, and that always reminds me of how mindful God is of us. I know He watches over us and wants us to become our very best. I found a quote that explains missionary work perfectly, and I thought I would share it with y'all. It says, " But do your best, your very, very best. Say your prayers and work hard and leave the harvest to the Lord.” I know it is His work and it will be done in His way.

This last week we worked a lot with our investigators Isahella, Sany, Alexis, and Song. All of them are progressing, and I love seeing the gospel change their lives. While we were at a lesson with Alexis and Song, I could feel the spirit all around us. We invited them both to be baptized and they said yes! Alexis and Song are going to pray about what day feels right for them! I can't wait for them to get baptized 😊

Isahella and Sany also made it to church yesterday! Isahella is the cutest little 8 year old, and she enjoyed coming to church. Her mom, Sany, does not speak a lot of English but we found a perfect fellowshipper for her. We also had two people come back to church for the first time in months. One of them I have become extremely close with, and I couldn't help but cry when she came into the building. She has a lot of health problems that cause her to stay home, but she has the desire to come to church each week. I know God saw her efforts and she will be greatly blessed for going to church.

I also had the opportunity to video chat into a lesson with one of my old investigators from Laurel Springs! Jen is getting baptized in September and I am so proud of her. She has come a long way in the past 10 months and I am excited for her to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

God is great and I am loving this Georgia heat. I really do! I hope y'all have a great week! Lots of love.
