Week 51: 10/15/2018: 365 Days

This week we had a lot of great things happen, and I saw a lot of miracles as well.

We have our investigator Alexis, and Satan is trying real hard to get her down. Her house flooded, she lost her job, she has major health problems, and some family issues. Alexis is going through so much, but continues to be faithful. I have learned a lot from her, and I am grateful for that. Satan does not want us to be happy, but if we just hold tight to the rod, he will have no power over us. We have to hold tighter and tighter as the Lord's coming grows closer, and as we do so, we will have nothing to fear. Because of the problems that have happened recently with Alexis, she does not have a baptismal date, but hopefully soon!

This week we have a mission conference with Elder Bednar! This is the first time an apostle has come to the mission in 3 years! Because of the natural disasters that have happened, Elder Bednar had to cancel all of his appointments, except for this one! It will be great to hear from him and to spend the day with him! We will also be combined with the Georgia Atlanta mission, which will be fun. This will be on Monday, so because of that, my p day will be on Tuesday next week instead of Monday.

While on exchanges this week, I saw a miracle happen. I went to Lilburn for the day, and while we were in an apartment complex, we tried stopping by a few potentials. We stopped by this lady named Francy. We knocked, no answer. As we were walking away we ran into her and she said sorry but she had no time to meet that night. We said okay, and tried another potential a few buildings down. As we were walking past Francy's building, she came out of her apartment and said she had a few minutes for us to come in! It was amazing to see how her heart had been softened and how she had the desire to learn more! Miracles happen every day!

Also, I hit my year mark this past week! Crazy! I have loved being in Georgia, and I am thankful I have 6 more months here!
