Week 53: 10/29/2018: Go Tigers. . . I mean Dawgs!

I had such a good week, and I hope all of you did too!

I saw the hand of the Lord helping us here in the Gainesville area, and I am so grateful for that. There were a lot of miracles that happened and continue to happen every day. One of those miracles happened at church yesterday. We had a great turn out for people at church, and two of those people were there for the first time. Maddie, our investigators friend, came yesterday and absolutely loved it! She asked for a Book of Mormon, and wants to learn more. We also had a member bring his 14 year old friend named Carter. Carter is super cool and loved learning about the priesthood. He is also going to do hurricane cleanup next week with the youth! How cool?! His first time at church and He is already that involved. We are teaching him for the first time tonight!

We also had a crazy experience with a lady named Shannon! Shannon is PREPARED. She called us saying that for awhile she has wanted to learn more, but was nervous to ask for help. We gave her a mini church tour, and she began telling us all of the things that she had learned on her own. Shannon is already halfway through the Book of Mormon, and believes that this is the path for her. It was nuts! I can't wait to work with her!

There have been a lot of big miracles occur, and I know that is because the Lord is hastening His work. Alexis, Song, and Gavin are getting baptized next week and are more than prepared. It will be the last week before Sister Willener goes home, which is so weird to say! She's taught me a lot that's for sure, and I am grateful for her!

I absolutely love being a servant of the Lord, and I love this gospel. I am grateful to be serving in the greatest mission on earth.

Have a great week! Lots of love
