Week 54: 11/5/2018: It was a Spooktacular Week!

This was the busiest week of my mission, but it was a lot of fun! This week we had the temple trip, and I loved it! Sister Willener could not come because the mission rule is you can only go quarterly, and she went with someone a few weeks earlier from our ward who speaks Spanish, so I had a member be my companion for the day. I love the temple because I always feel so much peace and love when I am there! I have felt my ancestors guiding me a lot lately, and I had a sacred experience in the temple this past week. I am thankful for my grandpa Guillory and having his hand in my life.

The next day was Halloween, and I had such a great day! Sister Willener, the zone leaders, and I planned a party for the zone on Halloween day. We played games, had a piñata, and finished the night with a testimony meeting around the campfire. It was a lot of fun and it was great to hear testimonies from other missionaries in the zone.

We also had MLC this week and a few other meetings. To top it off, we had stake conference as well! Alexis, Song, and Gavin were able to come on Sunday and they seemed to like it. I got to keep Gavin occupied with snacks and coloring books haha!

I just love Alexis, Song, and Gavin, and I am excited for their baptism this weekend! I know that they are making a choice that will bless them throughout their lives. Being on a mission has helped me realize how blessed I am to be a member of the Church. There are a lot of people that are in spiritual darkness, and we as members can be the ones to bring them the light of the gospel. I love missionary work and I love my savior!

I hope y'all have a great week! Next week is transfers, so we will see what happens! Lots of love
