Week 13: 1/15/2018 Waffle Houseeee

Hey y'all! I hope everyone is having a great week!

The week started out great! We got the car back on Sunday ( blessings ), which makes everything even better! While tracting this week, we found some really great people! One man we found is named Raman. We had a lesson with him, and we taught him about the Plan of Salvation while he taught us about the Hindu religion. It was really interesting! He is very nice, and we plan to meet with him again soon.

We did a lot of tracting this week, but not a lot of people answered their doors. This one neighborhood in particular was a little scary. We got yelled at... A LOT, but that's part of the fun right? lol. One thing I have learned from this week is to love everyone no matter what their religious backround is. It can be hard to stand there and get yelled at, but Jesus Christ was the perfect example of patience, love, and charity. We should all strive to be like Him!

We did a lot of planning for Gracie's baptism, and I am so excited for her! She is so sweet and will be an incredible member of the church. We had some really great lessons with Gracie along with some of our other investigators. On Friday we were able to watch President Monson's funeral services. I love that man! He really cared about individuals and helping them in anyway possible. We went to a ward correlation training and they talked about reaching out as Thomas S. Monson would. It was really cool!

This week we have interviews with President Marsh, and we also get to have a mission wide conference! Originally we were supposed to have Elder Anderson of the 12 come and visit us, but because of the rearrangements of the apostles he will not be coming anymore. That is okay though because Elder Costa of the 70 is coming! He spoke in the April 2017 general conference. He is awesome! The conference will be the entire Georgia Atlanta North Mission and the Georgia Atlanta Mission. That will be a blast!

I had a great week, and I can't wait to see what happens this week. Transfers are next week, and I hope to stay in Laurel Springs! I guess we will see! Thank you for the love and support! I love y'all!
