Week 14: 1/22/2018: 18 Year Anniversary

Hey y'all!

I have to jump right into it! SISTER OLDHAM AND I ARE STAYING TOGETHER FOR ANOTHER TRANSFER!! 🎉😊❤🎊Seriously we were sick all day thinking about the transfer call. For about a month, Sister Oldham and I have been begging President Marsh to stay in the Laurel Springs area. Partly because we work so welll together, but because we work so well with the members and our investigators. To say the least, we are stoked! It will be an incredible 6 weeks!

Anyway, the rest of this week has been great as well! We got a new investigator named Richard. He is 14 and really into sports, and he was just so cute! We hope to have great success with him. We taught him for the first time this week, and the lesson was great. Every time I quote the first vision the spirit is so strong. It is incredible. I know without a doubt that Jospeh Smith saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I am so happy I can share that truth with others. At the end of the lesson with Richard, we invited him to begin reading the Book of Mormon. We are so excited for him!

Part of this week was freezing, and of course it was bike week. It's okay though because Sister Oldham totally biffed it on a patch of ice the other day. Did I feel bad for laughing? Yes. Was it worth it? Of course! We had a really cool experience while tracting two days ago. It was suprisingly warm, and when we were done biking we were dying of thirst. We kept tracting anyway. One of the last houses the guy was so nice. We were about to leave, and he asked if we needed water. Blessings. We got some water and went on our way. I know that was something so small, but when we continue to work hard I know the Lord blesses us. It was great!

We have been busy planning for Gracie's baptism, and she invited us to her birthday party tomorrow! We are so excited ha! She is still getting baptized this Saturday, and I am beyond proud of her. This decision will change her life.

This week was amazing! I am excited to work hard this coming week, and spend the next 6 weeks with Sister Oldham. Some missionary did the math, and figured out that a transfer (6 weeks) is equal to 9 years of marriage. So, Sister Oldham and I have been "married" for 18 years! Soon to be 27!

I hope y'all have a great week! Good luck to the Juab Provita at region! Provita for life. Thank y'all for the support and love. I am so blessed. I miss everyone so much! Talk to y'all next week. Lots of love.
