Week 38: 7/16/2018: Doggy Day Care

Hey y'all! I am loving life here in Gainesville, and I am so thankful to be here.

This week was my first full week in Gainesville with my new companion Sister King. Sister King is an awesome missionary and I love her so much! From the second I got to Gainesville we have been going, going, going. I didn't get to unpack my bags for about 4 days 🤣 being busy is good though and I am grateful to be here.

This week we were able to teach a lot of people and find a lot of people who are interested in the message we have to share. We went to Gainesville and met a guy named Ryan. Ryan is homeless and has gone through a lot, but we were able to teach him and invite him to come to church. There was one problem.. he had a dog and no where to put it. We didn't care though, so we told him to come on Sunday anyway. Ryan came to church and walked all the way there! We got the dog situation figured out, and Ryan was able to come to church with us. He is great and we are excited to teach him.

Sister King and I have had a lot of fun together, and I know it won't stop here. We found some sparklers, apples, and a tennis racket. We light the sparklers and played apple schmear which was a blast! We have zone p day today which should be fun because we are having a nerf war. I am excited!

Life is great and I am so happy to be in Gainesville! I hope y'all are doing well. Thank you for the support and love 😊
