Week 39: 7/24/2018: Stars Hollow

This week was FANTASTIC! Sister King and I had a lot of success and were able to teach a lot of new people. I hope everyone had a great week as well.

This week we went on exchanges with the SAS (special assignment sisters), and that was great! Sister Johnson came to Gainesville with me, and during the exchange we saw a lot of miracles. We were able to find new people to teach and had some spirit filled lessons. I learned a lot from Sister Johnson!

The rest of our week was filled with teaching appointments, which was awesome! Sister King and I have been able to bear testimony of the Book of Mormon a lot this week. Most people look at it as just another book, but don't take the time to read it. I know that as we let the power from those pages into our life, we will be changed for the better.

Sister King and I had a great Bible study with a less active teenager. He said he was having a hard time getting into the Bible, and I suggested that we read Job because I find it entertaining and I love learning from his example. As we read Job, the spirit was there, and it was so quiet and peaceful. I have not had a lesson like that in awhile, and I am grateful to have the Holy Ghost as a constant companion.

The other highlight of my week was going to a Gilmore Girls block party. In downtown Flowery Branch, they made the town look like Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls. As a district, we went to the event and did the BOM experiment. It was great!

This week is full of fun because I have zone conference, exchanges, and my birthday! I am excited! Thank you for all the support and love!
